CANCELEDPhotography WorkshopNative Flowers as Compositional Elements

Unfortunately the April, 16th workshop has been canceled. Sorry for any inconvenience.

California is blessed with an incredible amount of both amazing landscapes and superb native flora. Come join Spencer Dykstra Photography to learn how to use these unique features to create a one of a kind photograph. The camera is only a tool; the real trick is to use what can be seen and compose from there. This class will go over basic camera settings for different situations, but the emphasis will be on using the natural scene to create interesting and unique compositions.

Whether one would like to learn how to create magnificent landscape images, or up-close compositions of wildflowers, the techniques offered will apply. Between classroom and hands-on field work, the student will be able to ask for advice from the teacher one-on-one or in a small group situation.
